Why NetBrain is Cool

We’re proud to be named a Cool Vendor by Gartner in the April 2022 Cool Vendors in Network Automation report. In this report, Gartner states that NetBrain is a good choice for “Organizations of all sizes that are looking to ensure there is an up-to date benchmarking of assets, simplify troubleshooting and/or automatically check network configurations to confirm that they are consistent with the original intent. In short, NetBrain simplifies network operations.”

NetBrain’s intent-based automation system for network operations manages every hybrid network from the top-down based upon desired results, using network design intents. The use of network intents is in sharp contrast to the traditional network management paradigm consisting of device by device management. By doing so, NetBrain can automate up to 95% of all of your network service tickets and prevent up to 50% of your network outages before they impact the business by using its intent-based automation.

And regarding the adoption of the kind of network automation that NetBrain addresses today, Gartner also states that, ”Network automation offers value by driving efficiency, uptime, agility and enabling scale. The primary driver is not usually cost optimization, but is often an outcome.”

According to Gartner, “Gartner’s definition of a Cool Vendor is a small company offering a technology or service that is innovative, impactful or intriguing.” The three elements of a Cool Vendor include:

• Innovative — Enables users to do things they could not do before.
• Impactful — Has or will have a business impact, not just technology for its own sake.
• Intriguing — Has caught Gartner’s interest during the past six months.

NetBrain illustrates the definition of a Cool Vendor because we are the first Day 2 NetOps no-code network automation platform to visualize and automate any hybrid network, from edge to cloud, and we do so via network intents. NetBrain’s Problem Diagnosis Automation System (PDAS) has been proven to accelerate the remediation of more than 95% of all network service tickets and eliminate up to 50% of network problems before they impact the production network and the business applications it supports. This reduces MTTR dramatically, increases uptime, reduces human error and escalations, and lowers operational costs.
