Before Algolia, she held senior leadership roles at Alfresco, SDL, OpenText, Metastorm, CA Technologies, and the United Nations in Geneva, consistently focusing on innovation, go‑to‑market excellence, and measurable business impact.

    Barbara Scarcella joined NetBrain in 2008 as Senior Advisor to the CEO and assumed the role of SVP of Global Sales in September 2016. Ms. Scarcella moved into the Chief Customer Officer role in 2020 and is responsible for global renewals and customer retention.

    Ms. Scarcella has deep expertise in building strategic customer relationships; her passion for customer success is the foundation of the culture for the Sales organization. Before joining NetBrain, Ms. Scarcella held multiple executive positions during her 18 years at Thomson Corporation including SVP & Strategic Sourcing Officer, Chief Technology Officer and President of Operations and Technology.

    Ms. Scarcella holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Richmond College, Staten Island, New York and a Certificate in Management Development, Columbia University Development Program, New York, NY.     Prior to NetBrain, Mr. Pang worked at Stroud International, a management consulting firm, where he partnered with operations leadership teams to identify opportunities, deliver results, and design improvement frameworks. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.

    Greg Baden joined NetBrain’s executive team as SVP, General Counsel in 2024. He is responsible for managing all legal, risk, and compliance matters for NetBrain.

    Before joining NetBrain, Mr. Baden served as the General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer for a pharmaceutical services firm and as the General Counsel for two enterprise software platform companies. He has practiced corporate and intellectual property law in New York and London, and, prior to his legal career, worked as an engineer in the software industry.

    Mr. Baden holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
