Successful Start: The First Year of NetBrain Technologies in Munich

by Barbara.Froemmel May 5, 2017

The first European office of NetBrain Technologies, Inc., a provider of the industry’s leading Adaptive Network Automation platform, celebrates a company anniversary. The Munich office has its first birthday, and the results, as well as the outlook, are extremely positive. NetBrain’s Munich team handles a variety of projects, especially in German-speaking countries (DACH), but also across Europe, the Middle East and APAC. Large enterprises from all industrial sectors demand automation for network documentation, troubleshooting, and end-to-end network visibility to protect their increasingly complex networks against security risks and network failures.

“NetBrain Technologies is uniquely positioned to strengthen its position in the region and support the strategic initiatives of its customers,” says Markus Waniek, Regional Sales Director of NetBrain Technologies, Munich. “The opening of our office in Munich, a year ago, shows that we want to consolidate our presence in Europe, and build long-term relationships with our European customers.”

At the beginning of May 2016, the first employees moved into the office in Munich’s city center. Since then, the team has worked hard to build NetBrain’s position as a network automation solution in the DACH region. Customers and prospects met with the Munich team at events such as Cisco Live! in Berlin, the Funkschau Congress in Munich, the it-sa 2016 in Nuremberg and the CIO & IT Manager Summit in Vienna. Various print and online campaigns in IT magazines as well as in the online business portal XING popularized NetBrain’s product offerings quickly.

What are key highlights for the Munich team over the next few months?

The first NetBrain Business-Breakfast series in six different German cities will start at the end of June. Also, NetBrain employees, at the Munich office, are contributing to their social responsibility by planning a day in a social institution where “hands-on” help is urgently needed.

In its first year, NetBrain’s Munich team, which has doubled in size since its inception, has already won over many well-renowned customers – from IT service providers and DAX 30 companies to public institutions and city administrations. Moreover, NetBrain Technologies is expanding its Munich team and looking to continue its growth all while intensifying its cooperation with partners and customers.
