NetBrain Expands Executive Team with Software Technology Veterans

New finance, sales, and marketing leadership to focus on driving growth for company’s network automation platform across enterprises globally

Burlington, MA, October 26, 2016 — NetBrain Technologies Inc., a market leader disrupting the network automation space, today announced the addition of three members to its executive management team. Jeffery Basile, Chief Financial Officer; Barbara Scarcella, SVP of Global Sales; and Grant Ho, SVP of Global Marketing have all joined the company at its Burlington, Massachusetts headquarters. These experienced technology executives will focus on driving rapid growth for NetBrain’s network automation platform into new and existing enterprises and managed services providers worldwide.

Jeffery Basile joins NetBrain as its Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for leading the full scope of the company’s financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and compliance functions. Previously, Jeff served as Chief Financial Officer for PeopleFluent, a Boston-based software company in the SaaS-based human capital management space. Jeff began his career as senior auditor at Coopers & Lybrand and also held the positions of Corporate Controller and Vice President of Finance at high-tech companies including Starent Networks, Viisage Technology, and Aspect Software.

In her role as SVP of Global Sales, Barbara Scarcella is responsible for leading the company’s global sales, sales engineering, sales operations, and training teams. Under her direction, NetBrain will focus on driving revenue by selling its platform to senior-level IT decision makers while building influence across the network and infrastructure teams. Barbara previously served as NetBrain’s Senior Advisor to the CEO where she was instrumental to the success of the company’s early customers and helped to shape NetBrain’s strategic vision. Before NetBrain, she held executive positions at Thomson Corporation including SVP and Strategic Sourcing Officer as well as Chief Technology Officer and President of Operations and Technology at Thomson Financial.

As NetBrain’s SVP of Global Marketing, Grant Ho is responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy and execution. This includes corporate communications and brand, media and analyst relations, product marketing, events, and digital marketing. Before NetBrain, Grant was Vice President of Marketing at NantHealth, a healthcare technology company, and also held senior marketing positions at NaviNet, CareCloud, and GE Healthcare. Grant began his career as a strategy consultant to wireless and enterprise software companies at Oliver Wyman.
