Search Network Elements for Mapping
The system supports a series of Search Patterns to provide a friendly, flexible, and efficient searching experience.
With the search functionality, you can find the objects you are interested in your domain:
- Global Search IntelliSense
- Search Devices and Sites
- Search Network Visualizations
Search Automation, Intent, and NCT
- Search for Clouds
- Search for Incidents

Note: Besides the items listed above, you can also search for the One-IP Table, Network Contexts, Events, and Global Endpoint Table in the system. |
Search Bar
Enter a search term in the Search Bar to start searching.
Use Flow
The following are some use flows of the Search function:
Use Flow 1: search and map devices
- Search for a device by hostname
- Diagram the target device on a new map
- Search for more devices and add them to the map
Use Flow 2: search and view the device details
- Find the interested device via fuzzy search. For more information, see Regex Search.
- Click the hostname hyperlink to view device details
Use Flow 3: search for devices having the same configurations and map them
- Enter ospf (process-id) area $Area_id to search for devices with the same configurations
- Open the recommended map and continue to perform follow-up operations
