Intent Library
In NetBrain R11, you can define a template (NIT) for an intent to clone it across the network system. Accordingly, Intent Library is provided in the system, serving as a central console for carrying out various operations such as decoding and installing intents, managing assets in NetBrain Download, and managing published intents.
The main user flow of the intent library is shown in the diagram below:
- Define an NIT for an intent.
- Decode the NIT.
- Enable Auto Intent to be visible to the users under the Auto Intent tab in the map.
- Install an intent in TAF. The execution results can be viewed in the Incident Pane or Portal.
- Install an intent in PAF. The intent execution results can be viewed in the PA dashboard.
The intent library covers three major functions, which will be described in detail in this chapter:
- Operations on NI/NIT: Including decoding, updating baseline, and installation.
- Install Automation Asset in NetBrain Download.
- Manage Published Intents.
