Key User Flow

1.Define CLI commands and frequency: Scheduled CLI commands are supported by both NetBrain Workstation and standalone Smart CLI application. See Scheduling CLI Command on Single Device and Scheduling CLI Command on Multiple Device for more details.

2.Retrieve CLI commands: The system will execute the respective CLI commands automatically based on the frequency specified by the scheduled CLI. Refer to Retrieve CLI commands for more details.

3.Use CLI results: After the CLI command results are retrieved, they will be saved in the Front Server Data Engine and utilized by features such as Compare CLI result, View CLI result. The typical use cases of leveraging historical CLI results to troubleshoot network issues are as follows:

1)View and Compare CLI result in NetBrain Workstation: refer to Comparing Network Data Changes for more details.

2)View and Compare CLI result in Smart CLI application: refer to Comparing with Historical Data to Detect Changes for more details.
