Follow the steps below to create a timer-based flash probe:

1.Click on the task bar and select Proactive Automation Manager from the drop-down menu.

2.From the Adaptive Monitoring tab and on Primary Probe pane, select the target device and click +Add. From the drop-down list, select Add Timer.

3.Define the name, description and frequency so the timer-based flash probe can be used for scheduling tasks.

Default Timer-based Flash Probes

By default, the system provides the following built-in timer-based flash probes for the use of scheduling tasks:

•High Frequency: Run every 4 hours

•Medium Frequency: Run every 1 day

•Low Frequency: Run every 1 week
