Visualize VMware vCenter Networks
The NetBrain system provides end-to-end visibility for VMware vCenter network resources and their physical and virtual relationships. With NetBrain, you can quickly understand a vCenter network in the following aspects:
- The network devices in your vCenter network, such as ESXi hosts, VM hosts, and virtual switches.
- The detailed information about a vCenter network node, such as properties.
- The network design between vCenter network nodes, such as Layer 3 connection of VM hosts and their gateway devices, and the (parent/child) relationship between an ESXi host and vSwitch/VMs under the host.

Prerequisites: Make sure the discovery and benchmark of your vCenter network have been completed. |
The general flow of visualizing a vCenter network in the NetBrain system is as follows:
- View and understand your vCenter network tree.
- View Details and Context Maps.
- Map End-to-End Traffic Flows with Path Calculator.
- Apply Data View to Visualize More Data.
For more information about context maps, refer to Supported Context Maps of vCenter Nodes.
