You can manually add, edit, and remove data units in data views. Many types of data units can be added to data views, such as hyperlinks, rich texts, and attachments. If all the reserved positions are occupied, you can add data units on overflowed positions.
Note: When multiple data views are applied on a map, you can edit only one data view at one time.
Example: Add a device data unit for the global data view Maintenance Information.
1.In the Data View pane, point to Maintenance Information and click the icon to select Edit.
Note: If the data view is not applicable to a device, the device will be protected in the editing mode. You cannot perform any operations on the map except zooming in and out.
2.In the editing mode, click the target device icon. The existing device data units are displayed in the corresponding positions. To add a device data unit:
1)Point to an empty device position and click the icon to select Select Built-in Data from the drop-down menu.
2)Select NCT Table from the drop-down list and select Config File from the available table types. Click OK.
Tip: The manually edited data units will be automatically locked.
3.Click Save.
4.Click the icon on the upper-right corner to exit the editing mode. The newly added data is displayed on the map.
