Data Unit is the fundamental and smallest unit in a data view, and displayed on device or interface labels.

Sources of Data Units

Data units come from the following data sources:

Built-in data, including GDR properties and built-in device data table (general data table and NCT table)

Parser variables (saved in the Parser Library)

Tip: You can customize the display setting for parser and API variables. See Configuring Variable Display Settings for more details.

The color block displayed under a data unit for notifications.
