1.Click the start menu and select Data View Template Manager.
2.In the Data View Template Manager, point to My Templates, and click the icon to select New Template.
1)Add a name and a brief description.
2)Select a data source. By default, the data source is Current Baseline. You can specify what data sources are applicable to a data view template.
3)Add a sample picture for preview before applying the template to a map. Click Add Picture in the Sample Picture field to upload a picture from your local disk.
4)Add qualifications for the current Branch1. Click the hyperlink in the Branch Type field and select the IPv4 Interface, Interface, and IPv6 Interface as the interface type.
5)Add Supporting Variables to this data view template. For example, click 0 Variables in the Supporting Variables field to add a built-in variable hasOSPF of device property.
6)Place supporting variables to device/interface positions, and configure variable properties or add Recommended Automations for each variable.
a)Point to a device/interface position and click the icon.
b)Select a variable from the drop-down list. To use a variable that is not contained in the list, click Select Built-in Data or Select Parser variable. You can also add plain texts to display on this position.
Tip: You can see the added variable hasOSPF in the drop-down list. It is highly recommended to add the desired variables to the Supporting Variables to conveniently place them on the device/interface position.
c)Configure Variable Settings.
d)Add Recommended Automations at the device/interface level. For example, add the recommended automation Monitor CPU and MEM on the device position System Memory Size.
7)Add Recommended Automations at the template level.
a)Click the hyperlink in the Drill Down Actions field.
b)Click Add Action and select an action from the action list.
8) To set different qualifications, you can add a new branch and configure more definitions. See Branch for more details.
4.Click Save at the upper-right corner to save the template.
