Auto-refresh a Dashboard

You can define a dashboard to auto-refresh at a specified frequency by retrieving the most recent data from the reports. 

If you want to project the dashboard to a big screen to monitor it continuously, you do not need any clicking and the dashboard will be refreshed periodically.

Note: Auto-refreshing a dashboard will NOT auto-update the report.

Example: A security dashboard is set up to monitor violations of zone. The intent is executed per hour.

To get the most recent execution results, you can:

1. Define reports to be auto-updated hourly.
   

   Tip: Refer to Run a Report for details to define reports to be auto-updated

2. Define the dashboard to be auto-refreshed hourly.
   
   
   1. Click  .
   2. Turn on Auto-refresh.
   3. Enter 60. 
   4. Click OK.
