As a part of Arista Networks, Big Switch empowers application teams with a self-service experience for on-prem data centers as the public cloud offers. Big Switch’s Enterprise VPCs (E-VPC) were inspired by the cloud giant’s implementation of virtual private clouds (VPCs/VNets) for underlay network abstraction allowing rapid VM and container deployments. E-VPC simplifies on-prem networking and alleviates provisioning dependency of network hardware constructs (ports, VLANs, VRFs).
