Manage System Tasks

System Task Manager provides information about all back-end processes, including currently running tasks, discovery/benchmark tasks, scheduled Qapps, etc. It automatically breaks a task into threads and enables you to end each process manually. Refer to System Task Status for more information.

Currently Running Tasks

All currently running tasks in the system are listed under the Currently Running Tasks tab.

To terminate a task, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the System Management page.
  2. On the System Management page, click the start menu  and select Task Manager > Currently Running Tasks. The running system tasks are listed under this tab.
Information To open Task Manager, end users can also Click , then select Task Manager from the End User page.
  3. Select the target task and click End Process.
Information Note: The system supports filtering the system tasks. You can filter the system tasks by Tenant and Creator.

Discovery/Benchmark Tasks

You can view all the scheduled benchmark/discovery tasks across domains under the Discovery/Benchmark Tasks tab and manually adjust the scheduled time of these tasks. How to adjust the scheduled time would also depend on the duration of each task and its last result (failed/status), so all the task information under this tab is very useful. For more information about setting the scheduled time of these tasks, see Increase Scalability for Simultaneous Benchmark Tasks
