NetworkBrain Top Bar

The top bar is located at the topmost and includes the following menus.

Visual Search Bar

Use NetworkBrain's powerful search functionality to quickly find the objects in your domain, including devices, maps, paths, sites, and more. You can enter search keywords in the Visual Search Bar to search. See Search for more details.

Path Entrance


The Path is a frequently used feature in the NetworkBrain system. Click the  icon next to the search bar and enter the source and destination IP address to map the path between them. See Path for details.

Incident Quick Access

Browse incident summary via Incident Quick Access, and you can also operate on a specific incident. The entrance of Incident Manager is also provided for you. See Browse and Manage Incidents for more information.

Incident Search Bar

The Incident Search Bar allows you to search incidents in the current domain. Enter search keywords in the Incident Search Bar to search incidents in the current domain. See Work on Incident Pane for more details.
 

Quick Access Toolbar

The quick access toolbar is located at the upper-right corner of your Thin Client.

Each icon and menu option on the quick access toolbar is described as follows:

Get notifications for collaboration of map, incident, runbook, change management, dashboard, and function portal suggestion from your colleagues, such as sharing a map or dashboard and transferring editing rights of a map or dashboard.

Get notifications of events, such as errors and warnings in tasks and activities.

  • User Profile  — maintain your personal information.
  • Change Password — available only if you select the corresponding check box while adding or editing your User Account.
  • User Preference — you can set up User Preference to define the behavior of double-clicking a device, whether scrolling the mouse wheel to zoom in/out a map requires pressing the Ctrl key, and whether automatically optimizing the port positions when move devices.

  • Log Out — the current user session will be ended.

  • Click domain name to get a tenant list and you can access more domains.
  • The hyperlink Domain Management is available only if you have the role of the domain administrator or the privileges of domain management.
  • Click New Domain to creata a domain. See Create a Domain for more information.

  • Domain Summary: Domain Summary has three tabs.
    • The Automation Usage tab displays the statistics of license and user login, and automation creation and execution. See View Automation Usage for more details.
    • The License Usage tab displays the usage of node license, seat license, and feature license. See Browse License Usage for more details.

    • Monitor NetworkBrain servers and services. It is available only when Service Monitor Agent is installed. See Monitor Servers and Services for more details. You can also see Domain Health Report.

  • Help: Browse this Help.
  • Create Support Ticket: You can click it to contact NetworkBrain support. In the pop-up NetworkBrain Support window, you can file a new request to NetworkBrain Support or view the request history.
