Device driver defines the live data retrieval method by using SNMP and CLI, such as, how to retrieve and parse the configuration file, route table, and other data tables, how to retrieve and parse inventory information.

Adding a Device Driver

1.Log into Tenant Management page.

2.Click MVS Configuration > Device Driver. The available device drivers for each device type are displayed.

3.Use either way to add new entries in the table list.

Adding entries manually

1)Click Add at the upper-left corner of the table. The Device Driver Properties window prompts.

2)Enter the device driver name and select a device type from the Device type list.

Note: The Author field is automatically filled with your license ID.

3)Configure a series of driver properties, such as Live Access, and Config File. See Device driver properties for more details.

4)Click OK.
The created device driver is added to the device driver list.
Importing a driver file

1)Prepare a .drv file in your local folder.

2)Click Import at the upper-left corner of the device driver list.

3)Select the .drv file and click Open in the pop-up dialog box. The file is imported into the device driver list.
