The auto link function refers to automatically draw links between devices or sites on a map. For example, when you draw devices on a map, the links between the connected devices are automatically drawn based on IPv4 Layer 3 topology by default. You can change the default topology type by Customizing Auto Link Options.

To change the topology type for the auto link on your map:

1.Right-click the blank area on the map and select Auto Link.

2.Select one topology type among all available options.

Tip: To draw the link between a site and a device, or between a site and an MPLS cloud, you need to extend neighbors. See Extending Neighbors for more details.
