You can create a Guidebook via Decision Tree.

To create a Guidebook, define the following settings:

1.Define Meta Data

2.Select Data View Template or Define Hypothesis to Associate with Runbook Template and Network Intent

Note:For the newly created Guidebook to be displayed in Decision Tree, the followings must be fulfilled:  

a)The system completes the qualification.

b)After the qualification, you need to manually refresh the current Decision Tree, or re-open the Decision Tree.

Tip: Pre-qualification setting is similar as the respective settings of Runbook Template. For the details of pre-qualification, refer to Targeting Device Scope for Runbook.

Description of the Guidebook

Select Data View Template

1.Click +Add Automation and select Add Data View Template.

2.In the Select Data View Template interface, select the desired Data View Template and click OK.

Note: The available Data View Templates may vary from user to user.

Define Hypothesis to Associate with Runbook Template and Network Intent

Follow these steps to define hypothesis and to associate it with Runbook Template and Network Intent:

1.Add Hypothesis

2.Associate the Runbook Template and/or Network Intent with the Hypothesis

Add Hypothesis

1)Click +Add Automation>Add Hypothesis.

2)In the Add Hypothesis window, you can select an existing Hypothesis(from other Guidebooks) or create a new one.

Tip: Once the Hypothesis is selected, the Runbook Template(s) and Network Intent(s) associated with this Hypothesis in other Guidebooks will be displayed.You can decide whether to add the Runbook Template(s)/Network Intent(s) into the current Guidebook.

Associate the Runbook Template and/or Network Intent with the Hypothesis

1)After the Hypothesis is added to the Guidebook, click .

2)In the Recommended Automation Details window, click +Add Automation, to select Network Intent or Runbook Template.

3)Click +Add Note to define the note.

Note: The note will be displayed above the connecting line
