Select Intents from the Select Intents Dialog
To adapt to different use scenarios, the Select Intents dialog has two sets of layouts for single selection and multiple selections. The folder tree structure in the Type drop-down menu of the Select Intents dialog includes six categories of intents supported in the system, common intent, common map intent, site map intent, device group map intent, path intent, and intent cluster.
Select Common Intent
Common Intent: Common intents are stored under the Common Intent category. After selecting the Common Intent category, only common intents are displayed.
Select Map Intent
Map Intents are further grouped into three categories: Common Map Intent, Site Map Intent, and Device Group Map Intent for selecting map intents based on the map type.
- Common Map Intent: Common Map Intent category includes all the intents associated with a common map.
- Site Map Intent: The Site Map Intent category includes a collection of map intents created from a Site Map.
- Device Group Map Intent: Device Group Map Intent category includes a collection of map intents created from a Device Group map.
Select Path Intent
Path intents are centrally displayed under the Path Intent category.
Member intents of a NIC are displayed under the Intent Cluster category.
