Intents in Network Intent Manager
In Network Intent Manager, all intents are stored in the folder tree structure, categorizing intents into three groups, Common Intent, Map Intent and Path Intent.
Common Intent
All common intents are stored in the Shared Intents folder.
|
Note: The intents in the built-in Recommended Templates folder can be used as template for creating Map/Path Intents. |
Map Intent
Intents are further grouped into three categories: Common Map Intent, Site Map Intent, Device Group Map Intent so that you can know the source and functionalities of the map intents.
Different types of map intents are displayed differently according to their functionalities.
- Common Map Intent: A common map has only one associated intent, therefore a map intent shares the same URL with the map.
- Site Map Intent:
- A container site map may also associate with a map intent.
- Device Group Map Intent.
Path Intent
All path intents are stored in the Path Intent folder.
A path has only one built-in path intent that shares the path’s name.
