Release Editing Rights

To collaborate with your team, share the map or network dashboard file and then release editing rights. After you release editing rights, you become a viewer, and the file becomes unclaimed.

The first team member to click the shared link will automatically receive editing rights. When the map or network dashboard is closed, the editing rights are released again.

Release map editing rights

1. On the target map, click Map > Editing Rights from the map toolbar.
2. Choose whether to release editing rights when closing the map.
    

Release network dashboard editing rights

1. On the target network dashboard, click the More options () icon on the toolbar.
   
2. Select Editing Rights from the drop-down menu.
3. Select Release Editing Rights.
   
   The View only label appears next to the network dashboard name.
