Lock and Editing Rights in Intent Replication Wizard

Lock of Seed Intent in Intent Replication Wizard

The seed intent to be selected may be locked by a user. When other users select the locked seed intent to operate in the Intent Replication Wizard, different notices are given in different scenarios.

  • For a seed intent locked with password: Enter password to unlock the seed intent to proceed. 
  • For a seed intent locked without password: User can contact the user who locked the seed intent to solve this issue.
  • For system admin and domain admin: Users who are system admins or domain admins have the privilege to edit a locked seed intent and can click Unlock to proceed. 
  • For the seed intent creator: Seed intent creator has the privilege to edit the locked seed intent and can click Unlock to proceed.
  • When there is editing rights conflicts, user cannot edit the seed intent until the editing rights is released. User can contact the other user having editing rights to solve the issue. 

Lock of ADT in Intent Replication Wizard

ADT can be locked by a user in ADT Manager. When other users select the locked ADT to operate in Intent Replication Wizard, different notices are given in different scenarios.

  • For an ADT locked with password: Enter password to unlock the ADT to proceed.  
  • For an ADT locked without password: Users can contact the user who locked the ADT to solve this issue.
  • For ADT creator: ADT creator has the privilege to edit the locked ADT and can click Unlock to proceed.
  •  

  • For system admin and domain admin: Users who are system admins or domain admins have the privilege to edit a locked ADT file and can click Unlock to proceed.
