Intent Node Support and Integration in Change Management

As the Intent Node supports the all types of Network Intents, it can be used in the Change Management Runbook Template for verifying network changes. This broad support also allows the Intent Node to be seamlessly integrated into Network Intent (NI) remediation workflows.

Network Intent Area in Change Management

The items displayed in the Network Intent area are automatically retrieved from the Change Management Runbook Template. These items allow you to assign values using NI variable values to:

• Macro variables in a Network Intent Template (NIT)
• Task variables in  NI.

The items include:

• Auto Intent and Intent Template
• Task Variables from: Standalone Intent, Golden Intent, and ADT Intent

Note: The inputs are merged into a single item in the user interface to simplify the process of assigning values.
