If the desired application is not available, the path is saved under Untitled Application by default. To assign the path to a specific application, you must first create an Application. - Enter the source/destination IP address.
- The related Gateways will be auto-identified as per your inputs. You can select the target one from the Gateway list if a device has multiple gateways.
- Specify the path Protocol to be used.
- Define the Advanced Path Discovery Settings. For more information, see Path Settings.
- Click OK.
- (Optional) Right-click this path and select Create Reference Map to associate the path with related maps to better express network problems.
When creating a Reference Map, select one of the following options:
- Create a copy of the selected map and associate the Intent with the copy (Default option): this option will create a copy of the selected reference map, and the path will be associated with the copy of the map. You own the Editing Rights of the copy of the map.
- Associate the Intent with the selected map directly: this option will directly associate the path to an existing map. You may only have the View Only privilege of the reference map.
