Add a Note to Runbook

For knowledge sharing or escalation, you can add a runbook note describing what you have done and discovered and mention other users or devices to notify them or address a problem.

1. Select an action node in a runbook, and click the Note hyperlink to expand the Note pane.
   
   
2. Input text. You can customize the font and style of the text and also insert a hyperlink into the text.
3. Click OK to save the text.
   

Mention a User/Device/Map

In the Note pane of a runbook, you can use the mention function to alert users or to call a device or a map.

• Enter @ to mention a user.
    
• Enter # to mention a device or a map, and further address the property of the device.
