View Auto Qualified Recommended Automation

After the target devices are properly defined, the Data View Template, Runbook Template, Network Intent and Network Intent Cluster will be qualified by the predefined target devices and displayed in Guidebook.

The display results vary with different types of recommended automations:

  • Data View Template
  • Runbook Template
  • Network Intent and Network Intent Cluster
  • Data View Template

    # Meaning After Clicking
    1 the qualified Data View Template associated with the target device(s)

    The preview dialog will pop up.

    You can click Apply to apply this Data View Template to the current map.

    1. The location for the Data View Template (Below is its description)
    2. The tags
    3. The recommended Automation (s)
    4. Click to edit the Data View Template
    5. The preview of applying the data view template to the map
    2 The description defined by users when adding Runbook Template or Network Intent to Data View Template. N/A
    3 the instance of the respective Runbook Template or Network Intent

    The preview dialog will pop up.

    • For Runbook Template: click Add to Current Runbook or Add to New Runbook to add the available Runbook Node(s) into the current or new Runbook

          a. 
      The tags for the Runbook Template
          b. The qualification and description
          c.  The Runbook nodes in the Runbook Template
               Note: The target device(s) of the Guidebook will be used as the default target device(s) of the Runbook Nodes. 
    • For Network Intent
    1. Click Open Network Intent to activate the NI detail pane,
    2. Click Add to Current Runbook or Add to New Runbook to add the available Network Intent(s) into the current or a new Runbook.
      1. The NI location
      2. The NI name
      3. The last NI status code
      4. The last execution time
      5. The last device status code
      • By clicking Configuration, you can view the most recent config file.
      • By clicking Data Sources, you can view the most recent CLI Command.

    1. Select the Network Intent(s)
    2. Click Add to Current Runbook or Add to New Runbook to add the selected Network Intent(s) into the current or a new Runbook.
