View and Save Device Configurations from the Map

The Design reader provides you with quick access to view device configurations on a map.

  1. To display more data units, rotate your mouse wheel forward to zoom in on the map. Point to a link label, such as an interface protocol. A tooltip appears showing the relevant configuration information.
    Information Tip: To pin the design reader tip on the Map, click in the pane. To move the design reader tip, point to the tip header, hold your left mouse button and then drag.
  1. If multiple matched results are found in the configuration file, click the icon to view more relevant configurations.
  2. To add the configurations to the current Map as a note, see Add Device Notes to Map for details.
  3. To browse the full configuration of the device, click Full Config.
