NetworkBrain Download

The NetBrain team builds many intents for common technologies and other automation resources such as ADT, auto intent, Dashboard. The system will automatically download these resources if the auto-update is enabled (you can manually download these resources if the auto-update is not enabled or your system is not connected to the Internet) and the task files (Configure Orchestration), which can be executed to copy and install resources. Alternatively, users can manually create and download or import library to share the library across domains. NetworkBrain Download also enable users to manage and perform operations on tasks in a Library.

Use Flow

The main use flow of NetworkBrain Download and Configure Orchestration is shown in the following diagram:

NetworkBrain Download

The system enables users to view and manage the Configure Orchestration Tasks in different libraries in NetworkBrain Download. You can select Orchestration Tasks in your domain and install automation assets in batch.

Information Note: Only users with the “Shared Resource and File Management” privilege can access NetworkBrain Download.

Library

The resources in NetworkBrain Download are organized by Library units. Each library is in an independent Library Package. You can check if there are new Libraries or updates to the installed libraries. See Check New Library for more information.

Configure Orchestration

Configure Orchestration contains a set of executable customized Scripts. You can execute the file to download and install the automation assets and view Trigger Diagnosis results and Preventive Automation results.

Task Description File

Task Description file is used to explain the function of the task, and when and how to use the task. The suffix of this file is ".txt". It is suggested to use the full name "description.txt" as the Task Description file name.

Asset Configuration File 

Asset Configuration file is used to define what operations will be performed and set all the parameters for related installed assets. It prepares for the Orchestration Control File while it is executed.

The system supports two types of Asset Configuration files as shown in the table below:

2 Install Intent

Install existing intents in the Installed Intents pane in the Intent Library.

The settings below can be applied during this operation:

  1. Set Intent Mode (template/standalone).
  2. Set the Intent Decoding method (One-Time Decode/Recurring Decode). 
  3. Enable and set the Intent Timer.
  4. Enable Auto Intent function and define the folder for storing the NIT in Auto Intent tab.
