Here are some frequently asked questions about the map feature.
Question: Will a personal copy be refreshed automatically if I open the personal copy owned by others in the View-Only mode?
Answer: To automatically refresh a personal copy, you can open the view-only personal copy and enable Auto Refresh. For more information, see Auto-Refresh a Map.
- Question: Is it possible to add an L2 connected neighbor device to an L3 connected map page (and vice versa)? What happens if I add particular L3/L2 connected devices to a map page?
Answer: You can add different types of topology links and neighbor devices on the current map page by extending neighbors or auto link. For example, if you have selected L2 typology as the default auto link type, the added L2 connected device will be linked automatically. Question: If I set auto link settings as defaults, will these default settings apply to all types of maps?
Answer: No, the default auto link setting will not apply to site maps and link group maps.
