After installing the system and activating the license, you can manage the following system settings from the system management page:

The system supports role-based authentication. You can use the built-in roles or customize the roles as you need. You can create a user account and set its roles.

The system supports the authentication with your external system: LDAP, AD, TACAS, and SSO.

  • Manage System Security
To enforce the system security, you can:
  • Monitor Servers and Services

The system provides the Service Monitor for you to observe the health of deployed Windows and Linux servers, with operations management of related services. With Service Monitor, you can check the status and connectivity of each server, and the performance metrics of relevant services in the system, analyze the trending data of system resource utilization metrics, and restart NetworkBrain services manually or schedule restarting services periodically.

  • Update the Minor Release

You can set up the system to automatically update the platform resources for the minor release through NetworkBrain Knowledge Cloud (see Patch Your System via Auto-Update (Check the Latest Version) for more information). For framework patch, you can download the system-update package and manually update the framework patch by uploading package (see Patch Your System via Auto-Update for more information).

  • Manage Front Servers and Front Server Groups

If you have multiple Front Servers, you can set up the Front Server Groups for HA.
