Define Role
In this node, you will select a subset of devices from the devices discovered in the current feature and assign different roles to these devices. You have to define unique command diagnostics for each role within the Golden Intent. This process ensures that device roles are assigned accurately based on the specific characteristics detected in the Feature Instances.
You can add active device row and standby device row.
The Role table consists of following columns:
- Device Role: Displays the name of the role.
- Associated Instance: Displays the count of the Feature instances belonging to this Role. You can view the associated instances by clicking on the number.
-
Representative Device: Displays the count of representative devices associated with this role.
By default, the All Devices Role is displayed, it includes all the devices associated with Feature Instances calculated in the node Calculate Feature Instance. The All Device Role cannot be modified or deleted.
