Network engineers usually have their private access credentials to make changes on specified devices. Private Network Settings are used to record and manage these private access credentials in the system. These private access credentials will be used when Managing Network Changes.
To configure the Private Network Settings:
1.Log in to the Domain Management page.
2.In the Domain Management page, select Operations > Advanced Tools > Tune Private CLI Settings from the quick access toolbar.
Note: If the Use shared credential and shared privilege credentials option is selected in the Network Change Credential Management, the Private Network Settings is not accessible.
3.In the Tune Private CLI Settings tab, click Private Network Settings.
4.Enter all the necessary private credentials under the related tabs. These credentials will be available for only the user who configures the credentials.
1)Select the Telnet/SSH Login tab.
2)Click Add to open the Telnet/SSH Login dialog box.
3)Select the authentication method, enter or select the non-privilege login credentials and click OK.
Tip: For SSH login method, if there is no available private key, you can select New in the Private Key field to add one. See Configuring Private Key for more details.
Repeat step 2) and step 3) to add more entries if required.
The following SSH private key types are supported in the system to access your network devices:
▪SSHv1 RSA key
▪SSHv2 RSA key
▪SSHv2 DSA key
1)Click the Private Key tab.
2)Click Add to open the Private Key Setting dialog box.
3)Enter the alias and click Browse to import your SSH private key file.
4)Enter the passphrase and confirm if your private key is encrypted.
5)Click OK.
Repeat step 2) and step 5) to add more entries if required.
The credentials for privileged mode login on live devices. With these credentials, the system can issue CLI commands on devices and change their configurations.
1)Click the Privilege Login tab.
Note: Only if the private privilege credentials option is selected in the Network Change Management, the Privilege Login tab is visible.
2)Click Add to open the Privilege Login dialog box.
3)Enter the access credentials and click OK.
Repeat step 2) and step 3) to add more entries if required.

If you want to back up your current Private Network Settings, you can export the setting files to your local folder. 1)Click Export at the bottom. 2)Select a folder on your local machine to store the files and click OK. When you want to restore these settings, you can import these files into the Private Network Settings tab. |
To refresh the device count to check how many devices are using the same credentials. 1)Select a tab. 2)Click Check Device Count. |
