Platform Management

Platform Management is used to manage data models, and data parsing and view for non-legacy devices that are discovered to the system via controllers. The data in the Platform Management is built-in resources that do not allow customization. A ticket is needed if you want to enter the Platform Management to view or modify it.
The Platform Management contains two tabs:
Technology
The Technology tab is used to add new technology and define the method of building data structure for the technology in the system. The definition includes the methods of discovery, benchmark, building topology, and common API Interfaces to parse device data. The data and network model of the technology is defined through scripts in TechSpec.
Visual Space Template
Visual Space defines the properties in a data model that are used as nodes and ports, as well as the link (topology) for the nodes and ports. With these three basic objects, a network can be visualized on a map.
The Visual Space Template tab is used to define different visual spaces for a view of technology.
