Each permanent license is bound with the machine where it is activated. If you want to transfer or migrate the license to another server, you need to unbind it from the current machine and NetBrain License Server.
1.Log into System Management page.
2.In the System Management page, select the License tab and click Unbind.
Note: If your NetBrain Web Server does not have access to the internet, you can configure a proxy server. Click the icon at the upper-right corner, select the Use a proxy server to access the internet check box and enter the required information.
3.Click Yes when a confirmation dialog box prompts.
4.Select the unbind method based on your situation and click Next.
▪Online (recommended) — validate your license information in NetBrain License Server and unbind it from your local machine and NetBrain License Server synchronously.
1)Enter your license password and click Unbind.
2)Click Close when a notification dialog box opens.
▪Via Email — unbind the license from your local machine first, and then send the unbind file to NetBrain Support Team to unbind it from NetBrain License Server.
Note: Only use this unbind method when your NetBrain Application Server cannot access the Internet.
1)Click Unbind. The netbrain.Unbind file will be generated and downloaded to C:\Users\<your username>\Downloads.
Tip: If the unbind file is not auto downloaded as expected, click Generate Unbind File to download.
2)Send an email to NetBrain Support Team with the file attached.
NetBrain support team will help remove your license information from NetBrain License Server.
