One-IP table records the physical connectivity for all IP addresses in your domain, including the connectivity between L3 interfaces and switch ports, and the connectivity between end systems and switch ports. It is retrieved during Layer 2 topology discovery. You can use One-IP table to troubleshoot L2 or L3 connectivity issues.
The retrieved DNS names of end systems cannot be added into the domain. To resolve this issue:
1.Click the start menu , and select One IP table.
2.Click the icon to enter the IP address of the DNS server and save it.
3.Click Resolve All DNS.
Tip: To resolve DNS name for specified end systems, select the corresponding entries with the Ctrl or Shift key, and then right-click them to select Resolve DNS.
Further operations:
The system retrieves IP addresses from the DHCP server when building the Layer 2 topology. One MAC address may have multiple IP addresses related to the One-IP table. To automatically keep the latest IP address entry and remove the dated ones: 1.On the Domain Management page, click Operation > Advanced Settings. 2.In the Build L2 Topology Option area of the Advanced Settings tab, select the Filter DHCP Entries check box. 3.Click Submit. The dated IP addresses are removed, and the latest IP address will replace the dated one in future. |
By default, the system cleans up the data in the One-IP table every 14 days. To disable the data clean: 1.On the Domain Management page, click Operation > Advanced Settings. 2.In the Build L2 Topology Option area of the Advanced Settings tab, clear the Delete One-IP Table entries older than 14-days automatically check box. 3.Click Submit. |
