Each Front Server is recommended to manage 5,000 network nodes at most. Depending on your network scale, you can deploy either a standalone Front Server, or multiple Front Servers for load balancing.

Note: Ports 7778, 7086, and 29916 must be open for communications.

Front Server is a key component of NetBrain system to manage the following tasks:

▪Collect network data, such as route tables, ARP tables, CDP tables, configuration files, and other data from your live network.

▪Provide proxy service for Ping, Telnet, SSH, and other live tools.
