The following table lists the attributes of an event.
Field |
Description |
---|---|
Device |
The target device that the event occurs on, displaying in either of the formats: ▪The hostname of a device. For example, BJ-POP. ▪The path name, for example, Path BJ-R1->NY-Core, in which BJ-R1 is the hostname of the source device and NY-Core is the hostname of the destination device of the path. Tip: All devices passing through the path are the target devices. |
Event |
The content of the event. ▪The content of the event collected from a Qapp or Instant Qapp execution is predefined by the Qapp or Instant Qapp authors. ▪The content of the event collected from the path calculation in the Qapp Scheduler is predefined by the system. |
First Run Time |
The first time when the event occurred. |
Last Run Time |
The last time when the event occurred. |
Count |
The total times that the event occurs. When the same event reoccurs, its count increases by one. ▪When an event is acknowledged, its count resets to 0. ▪When an event is closed, its count will not be changed anymore. ▪When an acknowledged event occurs again, its count increases by 1. |
Acknowledged |
Mark whether an event is acknowledged. |
Status |
The status of the event, Closed or Open. It always displays Open if the event is not closed. |
Executed By |
The username of the task executor. If the event is collected from the Qapp Scheduler, it displays the username that last enables the scheduler. |
Task Type |
The task type that the event is collected from, including the following options: ▪On-demand run Qapp/Gapp ▪Scheduled Qapp/Gapp ▪Run dashboard |
From Task |
The specific task name that generates the event by combining several of the following names: ▪Qapp scheduler name ▪Qapp name ▪Gapp name ▪Map name ▪Dashboard name ▪Page name ▪Activity name |
Tip: The same event only has one record in the Event Console. An event duplication is identified by its content, involved device, and the task type it is collected from.
The following table lists the available options to filter events.
Filter |
Description |
---|---|
Filter events by type. All events can be categorized into the following types: ▪Global events — contains events occurred in scheduled Qapp/Gapp tasks (with shared to all enabled). It includes the following two parts: oThe events occur when calculating a path as the target devices, including both the path calculation failure events and path change events. oThe events occur during the Qapp or Gapp execution. ▪Shared events — contains all events that are shared with you by other users in the current domain. ▪My events — contains all events for the automation tasks executed by yourself. |
|
Level |
Filter events by severity level: Error or Warning. Tip: Severity level is predefined within the executed Qapp, Gapp, or Instant Qapp. |
