Platform Validation (PV) checks the data accuracy by executing a set of rules called PV Rule (PVR).

A PVR can be checking a device management IP address or verifying the last update time for system tables.

•The PVR is created by NetBrain Platform Engineers with a Python script file. They will be automatically updated and expanded via NetBrain Knowledge Cloud.

•A PVR has a unique error code, error message, and recommended actions.

•The qualified validation rules for the current device are displayed in the Validation Rules tab of DAW. You can right click on a PVR and select Run to immediately execute the PVR and see the result in DAW Dashboard.

•The validation results are displayed in Dashboard tab in DAW.
