When the icon on the quick access toolbar changes to , it means that you have new messages to read regarding the Editing Rights and sharing of maps, dashboards, and runbooks. See Viewing Notifications for more details.

Email Notifications and Alerts

To subscribe to email notifications or alerts, you need to make configurations first in the Email Server Settings.
