View ACI Network by Application Deployment

The application-centric view allows you to see different tenants and the applications deployed under each. The ACI data model is organized as Tenant > Application Profile > EPG > Endpoint. In the Network pane, you can view the applications deployed over an ACI Fabric and the application structure.

  1. Select Network in the left pane of your NetBrain desktop.
  2. In the Network pane, select Cisco ACI in the Category field.
  3. In the View field, select Application Centric View.
  4. Expand a tenant node to view all applications in the tenant.

  5. Click an application node, and then select a context map type to view the corresponding structure of the application.

  • Logical Structure — provides an overview of the logical relationships between endpoint groups and their contracts. In addition, NetBrain can visualize Service Graph (its icon has a slight difference from that of Contract).
  • Underlay Map — provides the context of how the application is deployed on these nodes.
Information Tip: For more context maps supported under the Application Centric View, see Context Maps for details.
