Visualize Physical Network by Device Type

Explore network objects, grouped by device type, and view their details and context maps in the Network Tree.

1. In the NetBrain desktop sidebar, open Network.
2. In the Category field, select Physical Network.
3. In the View field, select Device Type.
4. Expand the Device Type node to view device information.
   

   Tip: The number next to each node indicates the number of its child nodes.

5. Click Open Map to view the context map.

   Tip: The context maps display the L3 Topology or L2 Topology.

6. Click the Device Details pane to view the node’s detailed properties, interface and IP interfaces.
