Use Chatbot to Execute Automation

End users can interact with chatbots defined by power users to diagnose network issues without help from a human agent. 

   

  1. Two ways to launch the bot:
    • From the desktop, select   from the taskbar. 
    • Receive the bot URL and open it in a web browser, then login to the bot with the NetBrain or portal credentials and start to interact with it.
      Each chatbot has its unique URL. For example, http://192.168.31.46/bot/10000g.  
  2. View the welcome page, which includes the chatbot purpose defined by the power user. Click START to go to the chat console.
  3. Start interacting with the bot.

    Click the button to follow the conversation flow.

    You can also enter the button name in the input box.

    Select from the drop-down list to interactively provide input.



    Depending on the power user's configuration, you will make a single selection, or multiple selections.

    Note:

    -You can enter the input in the drop-down box directly if the bot owner enables this option.

    -The custom input for devices is case-sensitive.

    Enter input data or built-in commands in the input box.

     You can view previous sessions and start a new session at any time.


    Every chat session will be saved automatically.

    Publish the current session with important findings to others for collaboration.



  4. View the automation result in the bot.
