Single-editing Control

Users in the same domain may simultaneously operate with the same file in NetBrain. If several users edit the file simultaneously, the file may be overwritten or cannot be saved. To address this issue, the system is equipped with the function “Single-editing Control” to ensure that only one user can edit a file at a time. The user who enters the editing mode of a file first will get the editing rights automatically. The editing rights will be released automatically once the user exits the editing mode.

If one user has gained editing rights to the file, a notification message will appear when other users attempt to edit it.
