Requesting NetBrain Engineers to Help Create a Parser

If the required parser is not available in the Parser Library, click Request Assistance to submit a ticket to the NetBrain team.

  1. Fill in the subject and description.
  2. Attach the CLI command output (the retrieved sample data) to the ticket.
  3. Click Support Agreement to read it and select the checkbox.
  4. Click Submit.

The NetBrain team can help you build the right parser.

When the ticket is submitted, the NetBrain team creates the Parser and deliver it to you through Knowledge Cloud (KC) or by email:

  • Deliver to you by KC:
    NetBrain team creates the Parser and uploads it to KC. The Parser will be automatically updated and indexed in the NetBrain System. The Parsers uploaded to the KC are usually the general-purpose Parser that many users can use. 

  • Deliver to you by email:
    If the Parser is not for general-purpose, it will be sent to you by email, or you can download it through a secure FTP site or NetBrain Customer Portal. Then you may import the Parser to the NetBrain System.
