Use ADT Dataset for Intent Replication
With regard to intent replication, ADT dataset can serve as the data source and is intuitively displayed to be selected. Moreover, ADT can include commands from devices of multi-vendors in one column.
The steps of performing intent replication with the ADT dataset:
- Create an ADT and add a column group with the ADT Dataset method.
- Install and Decode Intent: Select the dataset in step 1 as the data source for decoding the intent (this step is required for cloning intent in ADT).
- Use the installed and decoded NIT to create cloned intent in ADT.
- Run ADT intents via the dataset in step 1.
The following table describes the features supporting using the dataset as the data source for intent replication.
No. | Applied Feature | Description | UI View |
1 | Auto Intent |

2 | Path Intent |

3 | ADT - Intent Template |

4 | ADT – Intent Replication Wizard |

6 | NIC - Create Member Intents |

7 | TAF – NIT-based Triggered Diagnosis |

8 | Follow-up Intent | When home intent is set to the Current Baseline/ADT Dataset, the intent replication settings for follow-up intents in NIT are the same as the Home Intent. Otherwise, the intent replication mode for follow-up intents is Auto (default). |
