Transfer Editing Rights

In addition to proactively release editing rights of a map or network dashboard, you can also transfer the editing rights to a specific user.

Transfer Editing Rights for a Map

1. On the target map, click Map > Editing Rights on the map toolbar.
2. Click Transfer Editing Rights on the prompted tip box.
3. In the Transfer to field, specify the user who will get the editing rights.
4. Click Transfer.
   The selected user will receive a system notification and an email (if your email server is configured).
   
   

Note: You cannot transfer the editing rights of a site map or system device group map to an offline user.

1. On the target network dashboard, click the icon from the network dashboard toolbar and select Editing Rights from the drop-down menu.
2. Click Transfer Editing Rights on the prompted tip box.
3. In the Transfer to field, specify the user who will get the editing rights.
4. Click Transfer.
   The selected user will receive a system notification and an email (if your email server is configured).
