Remove Devices from Domain

NetworkBrain provides many ways to remove devices from a domain and user can select either of the following ways to remove devices:

  1. Remove the device from Site pane

    1. Click Site on the taskbar.
    2. Right-click the target device and select Remove from Domain from the drop-down list.
  2. Remove the device from Device Group
    1. Click the target device group and all the devices in this group are displayed in the left pane.
    2. Right-click the target device and select Remove From Domain from the drop-down list.
    3. In the pop-up dialog. Click Yes.

      Information

      Note: You can also right-click the target device group and select Delete to delete the device group.

      Tip: The devices in the System folder cannot be removed in this way.


  3. Remove device from Data Accuracy Resolution
    1. Log into Domain Management page.
    2. In the Domain Management page, click Data Model > Data Accuracy Resolution from the quick access toolbar.
    3. On the Data Accuracy Resolution tab, there are two ways to remove a device:
      1. Click Inaccessible Devices, and right-click the target device in the table and select Remove from Domain.

      2. Click SNMP Configuration Devices, and right-click the target device in the table and select Remove from Domain.

  4. Delete devices from Fine Tune result
    1. Log into Domain Management page.
    2. In the Domain Management page, click Benchmark > Tune Live Access from the quick access toolbar.
    3. On the Tune Live Access tab, open the fine tune result table, check the box and right-click the target device to select Remove from Domain.
