Control the Depth of Follow-up Self Separately
When using "follow-up intent" to perform different types of analysis on one device, more layers are often required to be extended, especially when it is combined with the intents from follow-up ADT. However, when using "follow-up self" to extend neighbor devices, the extended layers are not expected to be very large, and 2 layers may be sufficient.
You are allowed to control and set the depth for the "follow-up self" execution separately in the diagnosis, and the default value is 2.
The depth of "follow-up self" is also affected by the Intent Setting.
For example, if the total depth is 8 and the depth of "follow-up self" is set to 3:
- In the self branch, the actual execution depth of "follow-up self" is 3; even if it does not reach the total depth of 8, it will not continue to execute.
- In the NIT branch, the actual execution depth of "follow-up self" is 2 because the total depth of 8 has been reached.
