Use Open Driver to Fix Data Inaccuracy

Two methods can fix a data inaccuracy issue in NetBrain:

  1. With System Driver. When device data is inaccurate, the user can contact NetBrain and wait for a patch of the system Driver to fix the issue, which prolongs the turnaround time.
  2.  With Open Driver (OD). Users can correct the data inaccuracy issues by themselves, which leverages the low code ability of Visual Parser. OD method is more flexible and can be done by users.

A user can define as many ODs as necessary for one type of device. ODs will be executed automatically after the System Driver whenever the corresponding System Driver is applied, such as in the Benchmark process.

After viewing data inaccuracy issues from Data Accuracy Discovery, follow the steps to define the open Driver:

  1. Navigate to the Open Driver editor.
  2. Define the Data Source to select or create a Parser to get the exact value you want.
  3. Select the target device data, i.e., what data you would like to fix.
  4. Map the source data variables to the target device data.
  5. Define the qualification for the Open Driver.
